ABS awarded Gold for the Best Online Distance Learning Programme.

The ABS is delighted to announce that our online learning programme was awarded the Gold award in the category of the Best Online Distance Learning Programme.

At the Learning Technologies gala award ceremony in London on 13th November, a joint submission from the Association of Breast Surgery, Blended Learning UK (based at James Paget University Hospital), and the University of East Anglia won the Gold Award for the 'Best Online distance learning programme', for ‘The global impact of blended learning on Breast Surgery Training’.

“This is a great example of online distance learning. It has a solid instructional strategy, incorporating strong elements of social learning and problem-based learning. The team have shown a strong desire to innovate, while keeping their audience’s needs as a priority.”
